2019 Judge: Kristin Burhmann
Kristin Buhrmann has been involved with alpacas since 1984 when her family became the first alpaca ranching operation in Canada. She has been a certified AOA judge since 2001, a judge trainer for the past four years and a Senior Judge since 2004. Outside of the alpaca industry, her educational background is in biology and psychology. She currently works as a registered nurse at a small rural hospital, where her practice involves everything from Obstetrics to Palliative Care and everything in between. Kristin and her husband Bob Grier, live near Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada, on the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains about 30 miles north of Glacier National Park, Montana. Together they have two sons.
